Wait for all the tesla fans in UAE is now over, for a long time people were waiting for Tesla to step into this market as well and it is finally over, Tesla will be launching this month in United Arab Emirates and this should be the first official presence for Tesla in the Middle East.
On 13th of this month at Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa, Company will be hosting its launch event. City is also expecting Elon Musk (CEO Tesla Motors) to attend the launch, who will be attending WGS 2017 (World Government Summit) the Day before in Dubai itself.
There are already somewhere around 50-100 of Tesla vehicles present in this country imported by individuals without any sales and service network present, and it gets pretty difficult and expensive to upkeep a vehicle without a proper service network, though company arranges a Tesla Technician which they call ‘Tesla Rangers’ all the way from Europe if customer needs it but will cost you finally. Soon the local customers can get there service done in official service centers as company will soon going to open its service center too as it has already listed new manager and technician jobs for a service center in Dubai on its website.
When Tesla enters the market it will make sure to get appropriate charging points and supercharger networks according to the charging standard of vehicles. Although Jordon have some privately held Supercharge Stations (Manseer Group) but Tesla does not disclose the locations on Tesla Map thus will make UAE the first official country in Middle East the company will be covering officially.
Last year in an event, UAE’s Tesla owner made a plea to Elon Musk for bringing Tesla in the region and here there wish came true, it’s happening marking UAE as the next market for Tesla’s expansion in 2017.
